Hello .. yesterday I had a cold and diarrhea, but today I have chest pain. How is that?

1 Answer:

Hi Alwan,

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.

Chest pain can arise due to various factors. Some examples of the most common causative factors are:

Fibromyalgia (muscle pain and supporting tissue)
Gastritis (inflammation of the gastric mucosa)
GERD (backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus)
Bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchus)
Gastric or duodenal ulcers
Pinched nerve
Pleuritis (inflammation of the lining of the lung)
Pneumonia (inflammation of the lung parenchyma)
Heart attack, and so on

In the medical realm, there is no known term cold. Common cold is a term that ordinary people use to describe complaints of flatulence, nausea, chills, headaches, dizziness, muscle and joint pain, and other unpleasant sensations. This condition, as well as diarrhea, may or may not occur in association with the causes of chest pain as mentioned above.

How long have you had the chest pain? How is the quality of the pain? Where does the chest feel dominant? How old are you? Do you still have symptoms of colds and diarrhea?

If your chest pain has been going on for a long time, interferes with your daily activities, or also appears accompanied by other complaints, such as a prolonged cough, coughing up blood, shortness of breath, fever, vomiting, weakness, dark vision, and so on, we recommend that you see a doctor or a specialist in internal medicine. Usually, the doctor will give you some initial treatment first, such as medicine and education on natural treatment at home. However, if the complaint still does not improve, further tests, such as X-rays, sputum tests, laboratory tests, ultrasound, heart records, etc., can also be recommended by doctors.

As a first step, try doing the following suggestions:

Warm compress on the side of the chest that hurts
Didn't worry or panic excessively before
Get more rest
Reduce consumption of foods that are too acidic, spicy, and contain lots of gas
Cut down on caffeinated drinks
Avoid alcohol and cigarettes
Exercise more diligently
Drink lots of water
Do not take drugs carelessly

Hope it helps ..
