Hi Ayuu,

Thank you for asking HealthReplies.com.

The use of braces in some people can indeed trigger pain. This pain, often arises due to the attraction of the teeth and surrounding structures by braces to get a better position. Not infrequently, in addition to pain, braces users can also experience swollen gums, difficulty opening the jaw, recurring canker sores, and various other complaints. These complaints are more likely to arise if you do not properly take care of your dental and oral hygiene.

Not only because of the influence of the dental braces, tooth pain you experience can also be caused by other causes, such as dental abscesses, pulpitis, gingivitis, periodontitis, jaw joint disorders, sinusitis, and so on. This condition can be more susceptible if teeth that have previously been patched and treated by the root canal have not been cared for properly. If the pain is really great, you should not let it. This great tooth pain can certainly be very difficult for you when eating, talking, and carrying out other activities.

Before the pain gets worse, we recommend that you check yourself directly to the nearest dentist so that the best treatment is provided. Frequently, the doctor will first conduct a thorough dental examination, or be assisted with a panoramic x-ray examination to assess the structure of the tooth and its surroundings in more detail. In this way, your doctor can certainly give you the right treatment.

In the meantime, you can reduce the pain in your teeth first by taking pain medications (for example, paracetamol). Reduce the consumption of foods and drinks that are too cold, too hot, and foods that are too hard. Do not forget, always keep your teeth and mouth clean properly, namely by diligently brushing your teeth, clean between your teeth, and also rinse with mouth rinses antiseptic. Finally, always control your dental and oral health to the dentist at least every 6 months.

Hope this helps ...
