Why Does My Breath Feel Cold?
hello, I am a student in high school, I want to complain about my condition lately where my breath feels cold and my nose is cold too. then sometimes my stomach ulcers often recur, and the left side of the chest (close to the shoulder) feels like doused with cold water (a little pain too). my body feels like a fever (hot) but shows no symptoms at all. please answer my complaint yes, I do not want this to disturb me in studying at school. thanks.
Thank you for the question.
Cold breath, nose and chest can occur because of an illness, or not. Referring to your statement, that this complaint appears accompanied by sensations such as having a fever and recurring heartburn, then the possibility of triggering your complaint is:
Viral or bacterial infections
Dyspepsia (increased stomach acid)
Anemia (low blood hemoglobin)
Other factors, such as psychosomatic disorders, metabolic disorders, inflammation disorders, the influence of drugs, alcoholism, excessive anxiety disorders, hypoglycemia, and so on
If this complaint is not accompanied by a high fever for more than 3 days, excessive weakness, tightness, vomiting, or other more severe complaints, you should not panic. It would be better if you first do the following tricks so that complaints improve:
Take a shower with warm water, then wear clothes and footwear that warm you
Get more rest at home, don't go out unless it's urgent (especially when the COVID-19 outbreak hasn't died down yet, so your risk of contracting can be minimized)
Don't think too much, calm yourself
Don't take medicine carelessly
Eat regularly, don't over-drink caffeinated drinks
Stay away from alcohol, cigarettes, especially drugs
If the complaint still does not improve after undergoing the above trick, or if other symptoms appear more severe as we have mentioned before, you can check yourself directly to the doctor or internist. That way, of course the doctor can handle you properly according to the cause.
I hope this helps.
