Why did I not menstruate for 2 months, my last menstrual period was in November, and until now I have not had my period either, I did have sexual intercourse and in early January I was tested and the result was negative, then I waited until this date on January 30th I haven’t had my period yet, last afternoon I finally took another test and the result was negative again. Please answer, I’m really confused, why am I doing this ????rnThanks in advance, sorry for interrupting the doctor’s time 🙂
Menstrual periods in each woman can change so that it may not always be the same every month. Normal menstrual period ranges from 21-35 days.
From the situation you are experiencing, if your last period was November and you haven't had your period yet, then this could be due to several reasons, such as:
excessive stress, drastic weight loss, the influence of birth control, either injections or pills, ovarian cysts, uterine myomas, polycystic disease, pregnancy, certain types of tumors. Circumstances such as excessive stress will cause your periods to become irregular, or when you are too tired, your periods tend to become irregular. Likewise, the use of contraceptives that contain hormones will cause no menstruation, or bleeding outside the menstrual cycle.
If you have done a test pack and got a negative result, then it is possible that the situation you are experiencing is not caused by a pregnancy, because if you are pregnant, after 2 months of late menstruation, it usually shows positive results.
Therefore, to determine the exact cause of the condition you are experiencing, you should immediately consult a doctor so that the doctor can examine your condition directly. maybe later additional tests such as blood tests or ultrasound will be carried out if necessary.
