Hello, I’m Dianne. I find it difficult when having a romantic relationship with someone. That’s why I have never been in a romantic relationship with anyone. Then I tried to find a further explanation of my condition until finally I found an article that discussed aromantic. Based on the information above, it makes someone feel reluctant to establish a romantic relationship with someone. They can be in a relationship but can’t really be emotionally attached. I live it naturally. I did not choose to be aromantic. My question is whether aromantic is a disorder? Then how can I get out of the zone and start becoming normal by having an emotional romantic relationship?

Some people experience the fear of having an intimate and close relationship with someone. The fear is reasonable, if there are certain experiences in the past that are not comfortable with the relationship that has been lived. Phobias are included in anxiety disorders. This disorder can cause panic, depression, and disruption of daily activities and social functions of patients. Fobian can be specific and also general. Symptoms that can arise include:

Feeling confused
Headache
Chest pain
Heart beat
Excessive sweating
Mouth feels dry
Trembling hands

Causes of phobias usually include a combination of factors such as events in the past, genetic factors, environmental factors, and changes in brain function. Handling of phobias usually combines medical (drugs) and non-medical (cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure techniques). However, if you have not experienced the criteria above, you may not necessarily be included as a phobia. So that handling is usually returned to your intention to start a new romantic relationship.
