Wisdom Tooth Growth?
Excuse me . My wisdom teeth are growing at the top, but if I feel them with my tongue, there is a hollow in my near-new teeth. Is it natural for her teeth to grow into gum a bit bowed inward?
Hello Adinda, Thank you for the question.
Do you feel pain in that part? Tooth growth occurs slowly and does not occur instantly. Wisdom tooth growth coming out of the gums that occurs slowly is what can cause the gum surface to become irregular because parts of teeth that grow in certain gum areas may not necessarily begin to appear to grow in other areas of the same gum. Furthermore, if the growth of wisdom teeth is abnormal later, the surface of the gum will become irregular. As long as you don't experience other complaints, then you don't need to worry about this condition. However, if you start experiencing pain, this condition might be caused by canker sores or inflammation of the gums. In these conditions, it is recommended that you immediately consult your dentist for further examination and treatment.
For now, please maintain your dental health by regularly brushing your teeth twice a day. You are also advised to check your dental health regularly to the dentist every 6 months.
Hopefully this information is useful.
