Yellow Color On The Cut Nails?
I cut my finger until the nail was cut off a little. Currently, after stitching and removing the stitches, the part of the nail marks is like something that looks like yellow sugar. Then my fingers around the marks of jahita became black like blood drying inside .. how is that ?? Should it be checked or is it normal?
Hello good afternoon Pinat.
It is very difficult to equate perceptions about the actual conditions only through the explanations that you tell without us observing and checking them directly. Something that looks like yellow sugar on the cut of a nail, can be the residue of the antiseptic solution used when cleaning wounds, dried pus, or something else. As for the black color in the area around the stitch mark, it is usually the dried blood mark. However, it can also be traces of antiseptic fluid or dry blisters (scar tissue). If it is located deeper and similar to a thread, then what you can see is the stitch marks.
In principle, as long as you do not experience symptoms of infection such as: increasing pain in the area of the wound, pus discharge, the finger feels warm to the touch, looks swollen, and you have a fever, then you shouldn't worry. If what you see is just dried blood or dried antiseptic fluid, then it won't have any harmful effects and you can clean it. But if you are worried, you should check your condition directly to the nearest doctor.
I hope this helps.
Greetings, dr. Denisa
