Hello Alvino, thank you for using HealthReplies.com.
Mothers breastfeeding are not necessary to make changes to the schedule or the amount of food nutrition while breastfeeding. However, the important thing is, food for nursing mothers must be able to provide adequate nutrition, both for the mother herself and for her baby.
Many say that various foods based on processed cows, such as cheese, yogurt to cow's milk can trigger allergic reactions in infants. But until now there has been no definite ban regarding the consumption of yogurt in nursing mothers. Dairy products are an important part of healthy breastfeeding. Milk can increase bone strength due to the content of vitamin D, protein and vitamin B. Good yogurt, milk, cheese, and other fat-ridden milk products are one of the best sources of calcium that can help bone growth in your baby.
As long as there is no allergic reaction such as diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, to itching in your baby, you can be sure you are safe to consume yogurt while breastfeeding. As for foods other than low-fat dairy products that are good for you to consume while breastfeeding are:
Egg
Salmon
Brown rice
Green vegetable
Dates
Orange
